Dwayne Jones has been named The Hawk Athlete of the Week for Jan. 17 after leading the Hawks to two conference wins last week, while helping them extend their winning streak to four games.

Jones, a 6-11 center from Chester, PA, recorded a pair of double-doubles, while averaging 14.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in the two games. He shot 8-for-15 (.533) from the field and 13-for-20 (.650) from the foul line in earning the first Atlantic 10 Player of the Week award of his career. Jones is the leading rebounder and shot blocker in the A-10
