Freshman Erica Pollock has been named the Hawk Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, February 27. Also named named Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week, Pollock proved to be a force in the paint for Saint Joseph's. The 6-foot-1 post player averaged 13.5 points and 9.0 rebounds.

On Friday, Pollock posted her first career double-double, leading the Hawks in scoring and rebounding with 18 points and 10 rebounds. She set new career-highs in points and field goals (nine) in Saint Joseph's loss at La Salle. She also added nine points and a game-high eight rebounds against nationally-ranked Temple.
