Senior Pat Carroll has been named The Hawk Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, March 13. Carroll was named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Co-Most Valuable Player from the regular season and then picked up the A-10 Tournament's Most Outstanding Performer Award.

Carroll, from Horsham, PA, helped the Hawks to the Atlantic 10 Championship game for just the third time in program history. In the semifinals, he netted a career-high 30 points in a win over Xavier. In the final against George Washington, he had 25 points to earn Most Outstanding Performer.

During the regular season, Carroll led the Atlantic 10 in scoring in conference games (19.5 ppg) and ranked third in the league in scoring in overall games (17.3). He leads the A-10 in 3-point percentage at 45.4 and 51.4 percent in conference games. Carroll is the only player in Atlantic 10 history to lead the league in 3-point shooting for three consecutive years. The 6-5 senior owns Saint Joseph's career records for 3-point percentage (45.4) and 3-pointers made (258) and has tied the single-season mark with 99.
