Saint Joseph's senior Al Braun has been named The Hawk Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, May 25. A fifth-year senior, Braun (2-1) threw a complete game shutout in his first start of the season and final collegiate appearance to lead SJU to a 7-0 victory over Duquesne in the team's season finale at Duquesne Field. Also tabbed as the A-10 Co-Pitcher of the Year, he scattered eight hits while striking out four to pick up the victory and post his first career shutout.
