Janet Greder, in her second year as the University's Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes, directs a multi-faceted program of academic support that affords student-athletes the opportunity to succeed both in the classroom and on the field. Greder came to SJU after three years as an Academic Coordinator at the University of Iowa. From 1997 to 2001, she was the Assistant Academic Coordinator at Creighton University. Greder received her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1986 and a Master of Science degree in counseling from Nebraska-Omaha in 1997.

In his third year as Assistant Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes is Chris Bagley. A 2001 graduate of Penn State University, Bagley was a four-year standout on the swim team for the Nittany Lions. The Philadelphia native earned a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Penn State in 2002. Additionally, Bagley is on schedule to complete his M.B.A. from Saint Joseph's in May 2006.
