Junior Jeff Williams has been named The Hawk Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, March 12. Williams was also the recipient of the first-ever Philadelphia Diamond Five Pitcher of the Week award.

With the Hawks competing at the Rollins College Baseball Week in Winter Park, Fla., Williams earned the win in SJU's victory over Boston College. He pitched seven innings and allowed just one earned run while striking out four. The right-hander suffered the loss against Rollins despite giving up two runs in six innings pitched.
