PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's basketball team will face Saint Louis this Friday, March 7, in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Championship. The Hawks finished the regular season with an 8-6 conference record, finishing in sixth place, while the Billikens finished tied with Rhode Island and Massachusetts at 5-9. Due to tiebreak rules, Rhode Island earned the 10th seed, while Saint Louis and Massachusetts finished 11th and 12th, respectively. Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis will tip at 6 p.m.

Should SJU win Friday, the Hawks would face the 3rd-sedded Xavier Musketeers at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
