THE CAMP
This intense three-day camp is designed for the athlete looking for a highly competitive atmosphere. The sessions focus on high-level skills, strategies and techniques, and breaking down the positions of the game for the advanced player. It is ideal for those who want to specialize on the specifics of the game and play at the next level.

The camp is inteded for athletes grades 8-12.

THE DIRECTOR
Under the direction of Head Coach Denise Roessler, the Saint Joseph's University lacrosse program offers the 2008 Saint Joseph's Lacrosse Camp for girls July 24-26. Roessler is entering her 10th season as head coach of the Hawks. Roessler's collegiate coaching career saw her start the La Salle University lacrosse program prior to joining the Hawks. She led SJU to the program's only Atlantic 10 Conference tournament appearance in 2001.

ASSISTANT STAFF
SJU assistant coaches Melissa Hieber, Katelyn Kinney, and Jill DePetris will also serve as instructors.

Other staff members from top Division I lacrosse programs will also be at the camp as well as current members of the Saint Joseph's lacrosse team. This will assure there is a low player-to-coach ratio for specialized teaching.
