PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team opens the 2008 season on Saturday, March 8 hosting Dad Vail rivals Delaware, Lehigh and Drexel on the Schuylkill River.

Due to high water expectations because of the rain, the start time has been moved up to 7:30 a.m., and should finish by 8:30 a.m.

"We have had a great winter training session and have been working hard on the water this week. We are ready to go," said head coach Gerry Quinlan, now in his ninth year.
