PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's rowing team will compete Saturday at the Atlantic 10 Conference Rowing Championships on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, NJ.

Nine teams will compete for the Championship. The Hawks are taking the week to prepare and rest and to return to the joy of rowing. "We have set an extremely challenging pace for ourselves since March 8th. A10s will be our eighth race since March 8th. We were understandably tired last week in D.C., especially after coming back from San Diego, but we will be ready to go this weekend after an easy week," said Hawk coach Gerry Quinlan.

"We have had great results this season. The Freshmen and 2nd Varsity have had tremendous races, while the Varsity 8 and 4 have been up and down. We have changed the boatings a bit in preparation for the A10s and expect great things this weekend."
