Teuber's Triple and 4x400m Relay Win Propel Women's Track at Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa.--A trio of victories, including senior captain Jordan Teuber's triple in the 55m and the 200m dashes, as well as a leg on the winning 4x400m team, led the Hawks on Saturday. The 4x400m Relay of Teuber, Kristin Andrews, Nicole McMullen and Caitlin McGrath completed the triple for the Hawks at the Bucknell Winter Classic. Teuber's day in the field saw her compete in the triple jump where she placed third (36-2 ¾). After that she hit the track to win her 55m dash prelim (7.37) and then go even lower sprinting 7.27 for the win. She later added a victory in the 200m running a time of 25.93. The Hawks' winning included Teuber as the 4x400m relay squad was victorious with a winning time of 4:00.44. Other strong outings included a trifecta of second place showings with Nicole McMullen in the long jump (17-9 ½), Andrea Florida in the 1,000m (3:02.25), and Andrews in the 800m (2:21.13). Kristin Pierce finished third in the 55m hurdles with a time of 8.63 in the finals, but posted an even more solid time of 8.58 in the preliminaries. Annie Cushing (3:03.11) and Kierstin Quinn (1:18.65) were both third in their events, 1,000m run and 500m dash, respectively. Natalie Miller added a tied-third place in the high jump, leaping 5-3 over the bar, tying her season best.
