Florida finished another decorated season with a 30th place showing at ECACs.
 
 
Women's Cross Country Caps Season with 10th Place at ECACs

BRONX, N.Y.-The SJU women's cross country team completed the 2007 campaign with a 10th place finish in the Championship Race of the ECAC Championships at Van Courtlandt Park in New York. Junior Andrea Florida was the top Hawk with her 30th place finish, completing the five-kilometer course in a time of 18:45.

Villanova won the women's Championship Race with 43 points, while the Callie Hogan of the Wildcats won the race in a time of 17:48.

Behind Florida, freshman standout Aimee Chegwidden capped her season in 56th place, running 19:31. Juniors Juli Stensland and Amy Rhein were 64th and 68th respectively, running times of 19:43 and 19:46. Sophomore Anna Cushing was the last scorer in a time of 20:01, good for 77th place.

Freshmen Laura Faller and Christina Morelli finished back-to-back in 85th and 86th, running 20:35 and 20:41 respectively.

In the ECAC Coaches Race, freshman Jessica Di Cicco had a strong performance running to eighth place, finishing the course in 20:57.
